Maintenance tool in wrong location and does not allow to upgrade #96

Describe the bug
I received a notification that I could upgrade 1.8.1 to 1.9.0, and that I could use the maintenance tool to do so.
However, I could not find the maintenance tool in the location that the notification told me (the bin directory). Instead, it was in the root of the installed location.

When using the maintenance tool, it also only allowed me to "remove all components". Upgrading was not an option.

To Reproduce

Wrong location of tool

  1. Install Groot2 via the linux installer.
  2. Notice that the maintenance tool is in the wrong location

No upgrade in maintenance tool

  1. Install Groot2 1.8.1
  2. Run maintenance tool
  3. Notice there is no option to upgrade (or check for updates)

Expected behavior

  • maintenance tool is in bin directory as suggested by notification
  • maintenance tool allows to upgrade
