Grid auto-fits to keep the buttons at least 264px (16.5 rem), which is the width required to keep

Text wraps inside buttons, but only if it really has to.
How to test
Visit the World Cup timetable page and click around. Resize the window and change the zoom to see how the buttons fit into their grid and change size at different browser window sizes.
