The "Python Cookbook" hasn't had a new recipe since July 2017, which is also the last time any recipe was added:
Turns out code.activestate.com was decommissioned in 2018 and "shouldn’t be accessible at all", but they've not made that clear on the site itself:
It's been replaced by the https://github.com/ActiveState/code repo but that's not been updated in four years.
In summary, let's not suggest people try and post a recipe to gauge usefulness of an idea.
